Chris E. Christian CFSP, CCO
Chris is a graduate of Volunteer High School and Jefferson State Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is past-president of the Tennessee Funeral Directors Association and is currently on the Policy Board of the National Funeral Directors Association. Chris is married to Stacy Edwards Christian.
James P. Sells CCO
James graduated from Cherokee High School and Jefferson State Community College. He is a deacon at First Baptist Church in Rogersville. James is married to Carla Jones Sells with two children, Savannah and Elijah Sells and grandson, Andrew.
William (Bill) Manes has been with Christian-Sells Funeral Home since it opened in December of 2001. Bill is a 1958 graduate of John A. Gupton Mortuary College and has been working as a licensed funeral director for the past 58 years. Bill is married to Elizabeth Rose Kite Manes and has 1 son, William J. and Frankie Manes. Bill is a deacon of Robinette Memorial Primitive Baptist Church where he and his family attend. Bill is also a member of Bulls Gap Masonic Lodge #764.
Melena graduated from Cherokee High School and John A. Gupton Mortuary College. She is a member of Tunnell Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Melena enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and her hairless cat, Grim.
Eric Chapman began working at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in May of 2014. He is a 2015 graduate of Cherokee Comprehensive High School. Eric is a preacher and member of Choptack Baptist Church. He is attending Walter State Community College. He is the son of Rick and Susan Chapman.
Bailey Broyles began working at Christian Sells Funeral Home in May 2019. He is a 2019 graduate of Cherokee High School. Bailey is a member at Guthrie’s Gap Baptist Church. He is a graduate of John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science.
Chad has been in funeral service since 1996 and has served as a Funeral Director/Embalmer in Rogersville since 1999. He graduated from from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Chad is a member of Rogersville Presbyterian Church. He is married to Jennifer Hill and they have two children, Hunter and Raiden. Chad also works as a dog trainer.
Jessie Carney has been with Christian-Sells Funeral Home since July of 2014. She is a graduate of Volunteer High School. Jessie is a member of West View Baptist Church in Rogersville. Jessie is married to Tom Carney and has two children, Laken and Evan.
Savannah Sells began working at Christian Sells Funeral Home in June of 2018. She is a graduate of Cherokee High School and East Tennessee State University. Savannah is a member of First Baptist Church of Rogersville where she is very active in the children’s and youth ministries. She spends her time with her son, Andrew, reading, or relaxing outside.
Bill Trent has been with Christian-Sells Funeral Home since July of 2012. Bill is a deacon of First Baptist Church in Rogersville. Bill is married to Sandy North Trent, has 3 children, Cyndi, Susan and Josh, and 9 grandchildren.
Jim Sells has been with Christian-Sells Funeral home since it opened in December of 2001. Jim is married to Margaret Price Sells, and has 2 children, James Sells, and Leigh McNeil. He has 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Jim and Margaret are members of the First Baptist Church of Rogersville.
Terry Wolfe has been with Christian-Sells Funeral Home since February of 2017. Terry is married to Linda Dalton Wolfe and they are members of East Rogersville Baptist Church.
Tim has been with Christian-Sells since 2017. He is a retired teacher and served as chaplain at Signature Health Care. Tim is married to Barbara Seaton and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Tim and Barbara are members of Hope Community Church.
